Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel and film maker in the United States. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie can be seen in her long-lasting career as a performer and actress. She started her career as a model in the 1970s before becoming one of the top models. From the 80s onwards, she attended acting classes, and was a theater student before appearing on stages in Los Angeles. Russo first made her television debut on ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. The critics were initially skeptical about her talent as an actor however her steady performance enthused them. The praises were centered around her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and also in Outbreak, where she fought Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she has never been passionate in acting. After a prolonged break, she self-imposed the role in 2005. For the film Thor, she returned to her acting. She also appeared in the Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler that was written and produced by husband. Later, she would play in light-hearted comedies like The Intern and Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. She started her career as an amateur fighter participating in regional competitions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After joining in the UFC in 2011, she became known as a household name because of the fame she achieved both in and out of the an octagon. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in many activities as a kid such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first fight in professional. She was just 18 and had already won two bouts via submission. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to join UFC Strawweight in December 2014 at just twenty-two years of age. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, but she always comes out with a victory. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. The fight was won via technical knockout in just 3 minutes after the start of the round. This was the first ever female to fight for a title title with any major organization worldwide. Following this victory Namajunas went onto have several other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
